What makes me different FROM other photographers?



Let me be honest: like any other photographer, I will scout a beautiful location, ask you questions about your story, guide you into poses, and capture moments that unfold naturally.

Then, I edit the photos and deliver a gallery of the session. I also shoot on 35mm film. That's baseline.


The "why me" statement is not about me trying to convince you, but rather a question of alignment. So let me tell you what values are important to me, and you can decide where this goes. 

 

READ MY VALUE STATEMENT
  1. I honour GOD: Jesus Christ saved me and is the only reason I am alive today, so I try to glorify Him in all that I do. I include Him in every step of my work and always ask Him to bless our session together.
  2. I value TRUTH: I will not force a pose just to recreate something that you saw on Pinterest. Rather I take note of the vibe/aesthetic and if it naturally ebbs out of you as a person, a couple, or as a family, I will see that and pose you in a way that matches it. Otherwise, we are just going through a list of poses awkwardly for the sake of it.
  3. I value MODESTY: I will not ask you to make out in front of me or your family for the sake of capturing romance. True love and intimacy can be expressed in millions of ways, and I will never make you do something that makes you uncomfortable. If your love really is intense, I welcome it! I just won't force it.
  4. I value your PRIVACY: I will never outsource the editing process to anyone. All digital images are handled by me and stay safely stored on my personal hard drives and are never shared with anyone but you. If you wish for you or your children's faces not to be posted online, I will always respect that and capture images with those features naturally hidden (i.e. not just blurred or covered with an emoji). For film photography: the rolls are developped and scanned by a local team in Dubai (Lab Al Awal). If you wish for a ladies-only team, you can request it.

My background in hospitality management and a master's in food sustainability shape how I photograph — I don't just capture a plate, a face, or a garment. I look for the truth beneath the surface.


In Dubai's saturated market, film photography cuts through the visual clutter with its inherent authenticity — whether I'm documenting a couple's portrait, a restaurant's morning service, or a fashion label's latest collection.
